Our guests always say, “What an incredible view! What a fantastic location!” That is because this Sun Valley vacation home backs up to the parking area for the River Run ski resort, so it is a very short walk to the lifts, as well as just a few blocks to downtown Ketchum. It is right next to Trail Creek, so you can practically fish from the balcony. Sun Valley’s 48-mile scenic bike path, which is groomed for cross country skiing during the winter, is steps away.
This comfortable and pretty Ketchum property is perfect for sports enthusiasts and families who enjoy snow skiing and snow boarding, cross country skiing, biking, hiking and fly fishing. It is also perfect for those who want simply to relax on the private balcony with dazzling 180º views of Bald Mountain while enjoying a great book, listening to the creek below, before strolling over to enjoy a fabulous meal or great boutique shopping in Ketchum.
Fun Sun Valley Activities
Surrounded by the Sawtooth National Forest, Ketchum offers tremendous recreation opportunities including fly fishing on the Silver Creek, incredibly scenic hikes in the Sawtooth Mountains, and stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating on Redfish Lake (60 miles north). Golfing is nearby at Bigwood Golf Course, Sun Valley Golf Course, or Elkhorn Golf Club, all of which are within a four-mile drive. Trap and skeet shooting at the Sun Valley Gun Club or snowmobiling to the magnificent Stanley Lake are also great adventures. Wonderful and diverse performing arts such as the Sun Valley Symphony and the Sun Valley Music Festival can be enjoyed at the new Argyros Performing Arts Center or gorgeous outdoor Sun Valley Pavilion.
